Hello ladies and or gentlemen. Welcome to the very first post of Jaquelle's Rose Garden. When I say 'join me for a cup of tea' in the About Me section, well, the first thing you should know about me is that I DON'T LIKE TEA. Yes, my confession is true. But still, I want you to join me whether you like tea or not. Well, moving on, for my first post I just want to say a bit about myself, though this blog is not just about me.
To begin, my name is Jaquelle Rose ( my first name is Jaquelle and my middle name is Rose, you can call me Jaquelle). I spent the previous two years living in Texas while my dad went to seminary. I recently moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia so my dad could pastor a church. We just moved into our new house and I'm loving Halifax and our new church, Gospel Light Baptist Church. That is pretty much all you need to know about me.
I wanted to say something about gardens for Jaquelle's Rose Garden. When you see a garden what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Is it 'What a beautiful garden. I wonder who lives there'? Maybe its 'I wish my flowers came out like that.' Or maybe, just maybe its 'What a beautiful sign of God's creation.' There is nothing what so ever wrong with the first two, nothing at all. But, I do hope at some time or another you would think the third. Enjoy your garden (if you have one) and your tea (yuck). Stay tuned for future posts.
