Below is a video that I posted on my dad's blog. When I did that I talked about using your talent to honour God. Today I want to focus on the words of that song.
You are holy; You are mighty; You are worthy, Worthy of praise.
I will follow; I will listen; I will love you, all of my days
(Guys)
I will sing to and worship the King who is worthy
I will love and adore Him and I will bow down before Him
(Girls)
You are Lord of Lords; You are King of Kings
You are mighty God, Lord of everything
You're Emmanuel; You're the great "I AM"
You're my Prince of Peace Who is the Lamb
You're the living God; You're my saving grace
You will reign forever,You are ancient of days
You're the Alpha, Omega, Beginning and End
You're my Savior, Messiah, Redeemer, and friend
You're my Prince of Peace and I will live my life for you.
The song above is a song of adoration. When we sing it, we may think that we are praising God, and we may be, but we may not be. If we are not focusing on God, or not even thinking about the lyrics, then are we really praising God? We need to sing this song with full intent of praising and adoring the Lord. So, since this is a song of adoration, may I suggest that you adore? (No, not just anybody, but the One Who is Worthy).
