9 Ways To Honor God This Wednesday

Hello readers. Happy Wednesday. You may remember that in a previous post, I did '8 Ways to Honor God This Thursday.' I decided to do the same thing for Wednesday.

W- Worship God in all your actions. If you think you can only worship God at church or through singing, you're sadly mistaken. Worshiping God in our action can simply be doing what God would want us to do (i.e. helping our parents, talking nicely to a rude or nosey co-worker, not getting frusterated at parents/kids).
E- Eat with thankfulness. This may sound kind of funny, but saying a thankful blessing over a meal or your food, is a way to honor God. It's true!
D- Diet or no diet, God loves you just the way you are. God does not like it when you have low self-esteem. He created you exactly the way He wanted you. I'm not saying don't go on a diet, but if you're on a diet because you feel ugly or fat then pray, don't starve yourself!
N- Never say that God doesn't care about you. He does! Why would He create you if He didn't? He loves you, and He will care for you for all your days.
E- Enter His prescence with a thankful heart. Coming to God with thankfulness, is just what God wants. Remember, He is the king; we are not.
S- Submit to the Lord's will. This may be hard at times, but God knows best. We may think that we do sometimes, but we really don't.
D- Delight in the Lord. This sounds easy, but don't write it off yet. If you're in an awful situation, do you think that you'll want to delight in the Lord? Maybe you will and maybe you won't. But no matter what, we should! We need to delight in the Lord's presence and His laws.
A- Appreciate what God has given you. God blesses us with many things in life.We need to appreciate and thank Him for those things. They may be family, friends, a house, or even fresh breath.
Y- Yield and surrender to Christ. Give Him your life daily. As Jesus said, "You must take up you cross daily and follow me."

Hope these are helpful to you today. These should be helpful to me today, too. Have a blessed Wednesday!
