Happy October 3rd!

Yes, I did just say 'Happy October 3rd'. It is the third day of a new month. In honor of this new month, we're going to look at three ways to honor specifically this month.
  1. Be thankful, after all it is Thanksgiving! This month as we (my Canadian friends and I) celebrate a holiday of thankfulness, we need to keep in mind why we're celebrating it. We should be thanking God for all that He has blessed us with this year.
  2. Remember Jesus this Halloween. If you go trick-or-treating, or dress up, or decorate your house for Halloween, remember Jesus. He created you. Halloween has nothing to do with Jesus, so it would be easy to forget Him. Please don't.
  3. Don't grumble or complain when you're raking up leaves. Okay, it may not be raking up leaves, but if you struggle with something that seems useless and not fun, don't complain or whine over it.
I hope these three helpful hints help you this October.
