It's All Because He Lives

Hello, readers. I would like to apologize for not posting yesterday, like I promised. I'm also sorry to say that our kick-off to 'Current Event Corner' has been postponed. Try not to cry too much. The reason is that my mom, my brother, me are flying back to Vancouver tomorrow. Some of you know that our original trip to Vancouver was because of my grandma. She is fighting brain cancer. We were only there two weeks ago, but we need to go back. I don't know how long we will be in Vancouver, but that will be my posting station for the next couple of weeks (or months).

The song below illustrates that the reason that we are here today and that we have a hope and a future is all 'Because He Lives.'

God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!
    Chorus
    Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
    Because He lives, all fear is gone;
    Because I know He holds the future,
    And life is worth the living,
    Just because He lives!
How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
And feel the pride and joy he gives;
But greater still the calm assurance:
This child can face uncertain days because He Lives!
And then one day, I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain;
And then, as death gives way to vict'ry,
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives!
