Top 5 Reasons Why I Didn't Blog The Last Three Days

First, readers, I'd like to ask your forgiveness for not blogging for 3 (!) days! Let me tell you why. (And folks, don't charge me for lying, there are no false excuses here.)
  1. We were supposed to fly from Vancouver to Toronto to Halifax on Monday. The plane was supposed to leave at 11 a.m. Vancouver time and arrive 11 p.m. Halifax time. The layover in Toronto was supposed to be about an hour long. We arrived at the airport right on time. Then, about a half an hour before boarding, we found out that our flight was delayed for 2 (!) hours. So, we hung out and waited until 1:30. At 1:30 an airport attendant called us up and said that the Halifax flight will not be able to fly today! So, you will stay overnight in Toronto!
  2. So, we finally got on our plane, just to find a group of 20 college boys right in front of us. They enjoyed being very noisy, cursing, and not staying in their seats.
  3. When we finally arrived in Toronto at 11:00 p.m., we waited in a long lineup until the airport attendant gave us food and hotel vouchers. We then waited 15 minutes for an old, hotel shuttle bus to pick us up to take us to the hotel.
  4. Upon arriving at Midnight Toronto time, we realized that our new flight to Halifax was flying at 7:00 a.m., which meant that we'd have to leave for airport at 4:00 a.m.! We would have to sleep in our clothes, since we were practically having a nap! Luckily, my dad was able to change us to a 5:00 p.m. flight.
  5. Yesterday, we had a pretty good day. The lines were reasonable, we got food, and the flight was good. It would have been a decent day, except for one thing: Upon arriving in Halifax, we found that all 6 pieces of our luggage were missing!
Don't worry, readers. We got a call at 7:30 a.m. that our luggage (full of several things of sentimental value) will arrive in an hour. It was one crazy trip, but the Lord was with us through it all.

7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. ~ Psalm 139:7-10
