Where's My Daddy?: A Short Summary of A Man Who Is Not My Daddy's Sermon

Folks, the time has come again where my dad has not spent this Sunday in the pulpit. One of our friends from North Carolina, Pastor Matthew, delivered a message from Matthew 10:16-20. Before I give you the summary, as it's our church's VBS this following week, you may not hear from me as regularly as usual. But stay tuned for special Saddle Ridge Ranch posts ....

Proclaiming the Gospel With a Secure Faith
Matthew 10:16-20

Defining "proclaiming the gospel" is simple: sharing the good news of Jesus with everyone. But what is a secure faith? So glad you asked. It's
  • A faith that overcomes in times of danger
  • A faith that guards during times of persecution
  • A faith that produces victory through the Spirit
This is a secure faith. A faith we need to have. With faith all things are possible. When we have this faith, we can overcome the sinful world we live in with Christ's message. Faith = victory. J.H. Yates testifies to that.

"Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory! O glorious victory, that overcomes the world." -- John Henry Yates, author of "Faith is the Victory."
