Rapping the Truths of Biblical Womanhood

I recently stumbled across a fantastic song by S.O. and Serene, called Feminine Appeal, a song on biblical womanhood. So, even if you're not into rap music, I encourage you to at least look at the edifying lyrics to this catchy song, which I pasted below.

CHORUS: This is for the girls all around the world who hold it down, by the cross is where you're found
And ladies who in love with the truth, you know just what to do, put a hand up with a smile and let me hear you say
(AYY) biblical womanhood don't it feel right
(AYY) real feminine appeal and it feel nice
(AYY) real women know the deal and the deal's Christ
(AYY) this appeal bright girl, this a song for you...

VERSE 1: (And so I ask em), where the women in love with Christ?
Clinging to that rugged cross, yeah you hug it twice
You more concerned about the state of your soul than just chasing the gold or the goal for the budget life
uh Bible studies on Monday nights
Yeah it's kinda sweet right honey like, these types loving life
And they ain't tripping get their wisdom from the Lord
It's swimming in their system so they live it no funny gripe
In the world this word is still a worse verb
But to you submission is not a curse word
You got everything a man need and some
But you're shooting for the Lord and one
And I ain't wishing for you to do any different
Just keep doing the same, 'cuz you're spreading His fame
Yeah, this for my sisters who are more than just religious
Keeping it true in your lane letting em know of His aim

CHORUS

VERSE 2: Ok
We're talking 'bout the women who be livin' for the Lord
And not drivin' by provision that is given by the world
Cuz they say that beauty's in the eyes of the beholder
But what you behold is something much more precious than a pearl
But I ain't talking 'bout the beauty on the outside
Your walk with the rare smile
The bright gold with your clothes and the hairstyle
But we be talkin' bout submittin' in the church

You're reading and you're taking into heed what's in the Word yeah
Cuz S.O. done said it in the first verse
That to you submission isn't a curse word
And the words heard aren't followed by a curse word
But your hurts purged and it's shown by your first verb
(application) And modesty honestly is your policy
And probably most of these women find it hard to be
But you're ready for whatever is in store
Cuz a woman that is praised is the one that fears the Lord

CHORUS

VERSE 3: G said to me it's time I find a wife, I told him I'm alright

I got Christ on this lonely road
Besides some of the women that I've seen are only after one thing themselves and it slowly shows
Their components are what we see on the idol screens
The atonement means nothing that's what an idol brings
See it locally globally in my time it seems
Most women are taught all except this vital thing
How to be biblical, women see different
That feminist system is sifting I seen sisters who are so driven by the world ways

And doing everything the world say
Laying where the world stay
Look, I'm praying that them girls change, transformed by the Spirit giving firm praise
Because it starts in the heart, much more than a couple deeds
Feminine appeal is much more than a girls' retreat
More than knowing a couple verses in Proverbs
More than sitting silently and feeling awkward
More than serving one church
More than wearing long skirts
More than Elisabeth Elliot who I love first
And foremost it's more than all of these things
Though they matter, they are latter never fleeting
It's deep b and it's I rhyme precise
Cuz true womanhood really looks like Christ (Ah)
