Moncton, Micah and Morning Devotions

After my grammy and grampy from Vancouver arrived on Saturday night, we packed up the car Monday morning and all drove to Moncton, New Brunswick, to visit some of Grammy's relatives. After a few great days of visiting with family and friends, we just got home this afternoon and are busy unpacking and washing the car. I must say, it was a good exercise for me to be without internet connection for three days! But now I'm back on online, and I wanted to share some really neat verses from my morning devotions today which were in Micah:
"But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me." (Micah 7:7-8)
Those verses really encouraged me. As Christians, we don't need to fear. We don't need to get discouraged or down, for God will hear us. When we fall down, He'll pick us up, and when darkness seems to close in, the Lord will be our light. How amazing is that?
