Only a few more days! A few more days until we leave for the vacation of a lifetime, that is, heading to New York City then on a cruise to the Caribbean and finally (ending in) Orlando for a week. A dream, a once-in-a-lifetime dream. So as we've been packing and prepping for packing, the question of whether or not to bring my laptop came up. The main reason I wanted to bring it was because of you, readers, so I could blog my insanely wonderful journey! But then we figured that I wouldn't have internet everywhere, definitely not on the cruise, maybe not in New York. And we also got thinking about a ... (cue scary music) ... media break.
A media break is my plan to leave my computer at home and bring only my iPod (for music) and Kindle (for reading) on our trip. It is intended to benefit me in curing my (sick) reliance on internet connection and help me to relax and enjoy more without worrying about blogging or emails or other media-related things.
So you'll get your Saturday smile tomorrow, and then it will be bon voyage for a few weeks. But when I get back, you'll be sure to see some incredible pictures and crazy stories from our trip. Until then, I pray that you would continue to grow in grace and enjoy these last few weeks of autumn!
