Here are some of my favorite articles, places, podcasts, clothes, and resources from this month!
Rosaria Butterfield on Christian Hospitality - Rosaria Butterfield is my hospitality hero. She's the person I want to be when I grow up. I'm so excited for her new book, and this insightful interview gives just a taste.
10 Resolutions For Mental Health - I revisit this article every few months. This reminder alone is worth it for me: "I shall not fall into the falsehood that this day, or any day, is merely another ambiguous and plodding twenty-four hours, but rather a unique event, filled, if I so wish, with worthy potentialities."
Summer dresses - I am so in a dress phase right now. I just bought the one I linked previously, as well as this one and one very similar to this one. (If you have a favorite place to buy dresses, or just some favorite styles, let me know!!)
New Brunswick - My mom and I road tripped to New Brunswick twice in April so I could speak to two groups of young women. It was pretty fun.
A Swing and a Belt Podcast - Mom and I listened to two episodes of this podcast on our most recent road trip, and she's got me hooked! This is a baseball podcast hosted by Dan Schulman and focuses a lot on the Toronto Blue Jays. But no matter what team you root for, this is incredibly entertaining.
Makeup - I feel like I'm always obsessed with makeup, but this past month has had me binge-watching makeup tutorials (my favorite de-stress activity). I have super dry skin, so I'm always looking for new products that look good on my weird face.
This chair I just bought from IKEA - I've been looking for a chair for my room for a while, and this one I bought a few days ago is perfect.
ESV Devotional Psalter - I was gifted this, and I've been so blessed by it. Usually, devotional Bibles aren't my jam, but this one has no frilly, fluffy devotions, just plain and straightforward applications. It's fantastic.
This candle - I love candles a ton, and this one is delightfully summery (which is nice when it's 8°C/46°F outside in May...).
