Welcome, readers. Today we will be talking about what you may think is a common subject-blessings. Sure, everyone knows that we should count our blessings, but how often do we?
How often do we think,"Wow, I have a great family and a nice house and a good church. God is so good for giving me all these things?" I think in our culture we like to think that we earned these things. "Yes, I have a good job, so I was able to buy this nice house," or maybe, "Yep, I decided to date her, so of course we got married. I'm such a good matchmaker." Today it's all about me, me, me. Don't bother thinking about GOD, GOD, GOD. Our creator that could make us or break us has no part in our lives what so ever. As if! God wants the credit. He wants us to turn and thank Him for all He has done. So, we need to a) Count our blessings and b) Thank God for them. We need to resist our pride and thank Him.

Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever. -Psalm 136:26
