No, not with lions, and tigers, and bears. I'm going to visit my relatives in Vancouver, British Columbia. Just my brother, my mom, and me are going. We leave tomorrow, so stay tuned for posts coming from Vancouver.....
Speaking of adventures, that got me thinking about another adventure. An adventure greater than going to Vancouver, or Europe, or Iraq or the Equator. An adventure that you could set out on right now! It's an adventure that will change your life forever. Do you know what adventure I'm talking about? It's the adventure of Christianity! To set out on this adventure you have to follow three very important steps.

An adventure that you could set out on right now! It's an adventure that will change your life forever. Do you know what adventure I'm talking about? It's the adventure of Christianity! To set out on this adventure you have to follow three very important steps.
- Admit to God you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23) Sin is anything you think, do, or say that displeases God. God can't be in the presence of sin, so we have to say we're sorry. We can't just say sorry, though. We need to believe it with our whole hearts. We need to be so sad over our sins, that we can't help but pour out a confession to God. But, we are sinners, and the punishment of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
- Believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We need to believe that Jesus died on a cross for us and rose again on the third day. Jesus loves us very much. He loves us so much that He took our penalty-death. The grave didn't hold Him down, though. He is alive today. (Romans 5:8)
- Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. It's not enough to just believe in Jesus and admit you are a sinner. You need to confess (proclaim) Jesus as Lord (Leader) and Savior (Master). He will change your life if you do. I promise you. (Romans 10:9)
For all who call on the name of Jesus will be saved. ~Romans 10:13
