The sermon this morning was called Thanking A Consuming Fire, the text, Hebrews 12:28-29.
"Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire."As the Thanksgiving long weekend began today, my dad preached on thanking a Consuming Fire, the Consuming Fire, God, Yahweh. The point of the message was very simple: We need to be thanking the Consuming Fire. It's as simple as that. Or is it?
We need to be thanking God for every blessing every day. But do we?
