  • At Christmastime in India, they decorate banana trees?
  • Every year, 34-36 million Christmas trees are produced to keep up with the demand?
  • In England Christmas was banned for 13 years? It was banned in 1647 by Oliver Cromwell, the Puritan leader, who believed that the Christmas festivities were to be considered unholy. Thus, Christmas was made illegal in England. The ban was lifted in 1660, when the Puritans lost their power.
  • Jingle Bells, the world-wide Christmas hit, created by James Pierpont in 1857, was originally called "One-Horse Open Sleigh," and was written to celebrate Thanksgiving, not Christmas?
  • If you received all the gifts in the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas," you'd get 364 gifts?
  • The first artificial Christmas trees were created in Germany?
