Happy Thursday, readers. Today in our part 2 of our Botanical Blessings series we are looking at the third day of creation, when God created the flowers, the trees, all the plants.
And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so. 12The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
- Genesis 1:11-12
That is the story of how all of the plants, flowers, and trees were put onto this earth. God saw that these things were good. God blessed us with flowers. He blessed us with fruit grown on trees, with beautiful gardens. This creation of His was truly a blessing to us. We need to thank Him for this. We don't really think about these things as a blessing, but could you imagine the world without flowers and gardens? It would be a bleak world. So, remember, today maybe if you see a garden or a flower, thank God for His beautiful creation. This is something I need to remember, too. In conclusion, gardens are a blessing and gift from God to us, so let's thank Him for His gift.
